O. Winston Link was a giant of contemporary photography. His images, made in the 1950s and depicting the last days of steam, have become icons of 20th century Americana.

However, behind the veneer of success and recognition the film reveals a half century long tale which culminated in the imprisonment for over 7 years of Linkʼs wife Conchita and her lover, Ed Hayes.
